UU Service Committee |
Toni Kring has sent this information in: The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC) is engaged in the effort to end the war in Iraq by defending the free speech of Iraq War veterans and others who oppose the war. They are inviting Iraq War veterans to bear witness and educate the U.S. people about the war.
They are supporting the efforts of groups like Veterans for Peace and Appeal for Redress to end the war in Iraq. For more information on how you can support UUSC’s peace-building efforts, visit their website. There you will learn how to work with Muslim and UU youth and young people to promote peace and understanding and to build bridges with the “next generation of human rights defenders.”
