UU Fort Wayne seeks Family Faith Formation Coordinator
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fort Wayne (UUCFW) is a small and vibrant liberal faith community located in Northeast Indiana. Our mission calls us to create a spiritual community that inspires growth, seeks knowledge, accepts differences, and deepens compassion to build a just world.
UUCFW was founded in 1939 and we draw members and visitors from primarily Allen County. We are a Welcoming Congregation and, as such, we are open and affirming of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
The person seeking this position should have an interest in listening, practicing good communication with families, and have a good rapport with children and youth. Even if the candidate is not currently familiar with the tenets of the UU faith, they are able to research our websites and communicate with our minister, Rev. Shelly with questions or concerns in regards to administering the program. The coordinator will work closely with the Family Faith Formation Team and the minister to ensure communication of vital, healthy programs for elementary aged children, youth, teens, and their families.
